What are digitalized and non-digitalized templates within the library?

Template Libraries consists of some templates allowing the user to access, preview, and copy such templates, edit their copies and customize according to their requirements.

For non-digitized templates in the library, the user experience differs. Users should not be able to make on-screen edits to these templates however download, edit them as needed, and then upload them back into the application.

  1. This details the addition of new digitized templates into the template library, to enhance the variety and functionality of the library.
  2. The templates available are the "Compilation engagement letter," "Management acknowledgement of responsibilities," and "Management representation letter." Each of these digitized templates is distinct, serving various purposes within the template library.
  3. In the template library, users will have access to several options for each of these templates, encapsulated under ellipses options. These include the ability to preview the template, download it, or make a copy to customize as per their requirements.
  4. However, users should be able to create a copy of any of these templates. Upon copying, they are then able to edit this version, allowing for customization while retaining the original template as a standard.
  5. Editing a copied template is facilitated through a rich text editor. This editor provides a user-friendly interface, enabling users to modify and personalize the template easily.
  6. The templates include dynamic fields, which are integral to their design. These fields adapt and change when the template is imported into a specific engagement, reflecting relevant values and information.

Non-digitized templates – on screen editing via the rich text editor 

  1. For non-digitized templates in the library, the user experience differs. Users should not be able to make on-screen edits to these templates.
  2. When incorporated into an engagement, non-digitized templates do not offer a preview on the screen but appear as attachments instead.
  3. Users should be able to edit these templates within the applications rich text editor.
